Hey there, I’m Ben!

You’ve probably come to this page to find out a little more about me and what I do. Ever since I was 10 years old there has always been one thing I’ve wanted to do: create content! What first started as me using my laptop webcam to record my Xbox 360 gameplay in my living room for my 7 YouTube subscribers, has now turned into me working as a Videographer, Editor, and Content Creator for brands such as Gymshark and Global Health Tests.

I remember watching YouTubers such as KSI, FaZe, and Syndicate and thinking “how can I be in their position?”. My love for all things YouTube and gaming led me to recording my own YouTube gaming videos, first on my laptop webcam, before moving to game captures such as Elgato. This drive to create content, even if not many people were seeing it, led me to study media in A level where I achieved an A grade, before studying BA Film, TV & Digital Media Production at Northampton University. In my first year at university, I was part of a team that achieved best editing and best cinematography awards for a short film that I had directed. This recognition drove me and helped me to believe that my passion is being noticed and that I can make a real difference when making content. I ended my time at university with a First, before joining Gymshark as a videographer.

Throughout my time at Gymshark I learned more than I ever thought was possible in just over a year. I gained more confidence personally and professionally, and managed to elevate my video and editing skills to a new level. Through working on projects such as events, adverts, and livestreams, to YouTube videos with some of my favourite YouTubers, my skillset grew exponentially. I then took this skillset to Global Health Tests, where not only was I a videographer and editor, but also a host on The Check My Body Health Podcast, as well as presenting content over multiple social media platforms and brands.

So what next? I’m now on the lookout to help other brands and clients connect with their audiences through the use of video, editing, and content creation. I’m beyond excited to see how I can help those looking to further progress their online presence.
